A long –cherished academic brainchild of
the illustrious Roy family of Keshalpur House Katrasgrah,
P.K.Roy Memorial College emerged in its infancy in 1948
lay the endeavors.
Sri Buto Krishto Roy.It
had to wait till 1960 when the college, combating
numerous odds, got well-equipped with requisite
amenities and adequate infrastructure to cater to the
educational need of the aspirants for higher education
Dhanbad Koyalanchal.
Sri Buto Krishto Roy named the college
after his departed father Late Prasanna Kr Roy. It was
Sri Bijoli Kant Roy, who, after the demise of his
father, Buto Kristo Roy, took the onus of developing the
college with all sincerity and dedication with
unprecedented, peerless zeal to propel the college to
the dizzy heights of glory and glamour. It was under his
patronage that P.K.Roy College Touched new heights and
gained new dimensions.
